Are you a member of the IEEE Task Group N unaffiliated with a chipmaker? The FUD (fear, uncertainty, distortion) wars are underway for the near-term in 802.11n, the next-generation wireless LAN standard that will get folded into Wi-Fi. I'm trying to find people who attend the Task Group N meetings who can shed some light on the dispute that the draft voted into place last week will--without further modification--cause grievous problems to nearby 802.11b/g networks.
