Just a quick one on the Gare du Nord wifi - as anyone who travels on Eurostar knows this is one of the worst stations in Paris - crowded, cramped, extremely noisy and barely room to have a sandwich let alone use wifi. In the summer months its even worse. (I could go on an on about the way the French keep several hundred waiting in what amounts to a cramped corridor until the last minute before the relief of boarding Eurostar). It will be interesting to see what they have to say about the trials.
best wishes
Philip
If I were using Wi-Fi in Gare du Nord, I would opt for the 20-minute access card, because after 20 minutes your laptop/PDA will have been stolen anyway.
(Unfortunately, I'm only half-way joking here.)
