The city of San Carlos will be the first “concept city” for the Wireless Silicon Valley Project: The 1,500-square-mile effort will begin with a couple of square miles, one of them in San Carlos. The test will last 120 days from commencement, which wasn’t announced. The 41 entities in the area to be served are still working on a model agreement; this test phase gets work started before that agreement is finished and then separately executed by many, many executives and councils.
